An Irish joke
An Irish joke ist oft einer, der nicht die Iren, sondern andere etwas entzaubert dastehen lässt. Hier die deutschen Touristen.
Some German tourists enter a bar in Ireland. They are just back from Spain where they have spent a week.
One of the Germans says to the bar man: „In Spain – whenever we have asked for something – the answer was ‚manjana, tomorrow‘. When comes the bus? ‚Manjana, tomorrow.‘ When do you open? ‚Manjana, tomorrow.‘ …Manjana – Do you have an expression for that in Ireland?“
Says the bar man: „Oh no, we have nothing that urgent.“
